Rained Out // Fort Wayne, Indiana

Raindrops drizzle down century old windows.

Down the block from my apartment in Downtown Fort Wayne there are numerous dilapidated buildings in dire need of repair. As a flag-bearer of the revitalization efforts of the community, I was so stoked to see the old laundromat gutted and cleaned. Now it's being used by Arch Inc, a local organization deeply interesting in creating a culturally rich community by restoring, rebuilding, and reinvesting in the Greater Fort Wayne area.

Instead of sitting empty, the old Canton Laundry now hosts weekly pop-up art galleries. Last week I biked down before a torrential downpour to investigate the space.
